Messerschmitt ME 109E

The Me 109 was, of course, the adversary of the Spitfire and Hurricane.
It was a much smaller aircraft than the two British fighters, and proved to be a nimble opponent.
The Me109 has the distinction of being produced in larger numbers than any other fighter in the world.
